Sunday was cafe day. I had planned on going to church and even walked most of the way there. But the snow slowed us down and church was half over by the time we arrived, so I ditched God and choose Starbucks. Don’t judge. This is the weekly pilgrimage of many a Christian. At least I tried…it’s not like my spirit is a stake or anything. Shannon and Leah met me there, but being restless, we went to cafe number duo: Puccino’s. During the week, you get a free croissant with a drink. Figures we go on Sunday.
Karma?
On the walk back, after stopping at Tesco (digestives are addicting), we went to a candy shop where I learned that American’s are fat for a reason. Cereal. Lucky Charms were discontinued from the candy shop because the sugar content was too high). Leah found Reeses and Shannon was simply overwhelmed. See picture below.

Also popular from America, "Vanilla Marshmallow" aka fluff. The only thing fluff does in America is clog arteries and cabinets.
I am particular (NOT high maintenance). I also like to complain. Therefore, it is necessary that I share this observation. Oxford is a university town, filled with university students, who, presumably, like to escape University and enjoy the town. Yet, rarely is anything open after 7:30. Except pubs. When the libraries close at 10, where am I supposed to go?
Pubs.
Sorry Messiah College, the culture drove me to it.
